The opportunity to treat patients of all ages and be involved with each person's health care throughout their life's journey is what attracted Dr. Shamrock to Family Medicine. His decision to focus on Family Medicine Primary Care was greatly influenced by his experiences during several medical mission trips in Central America. Dr. Shamrock believes all patients have unique healthcare needs and wellness goals, and it is important to work together as a team with each patient to achieve those goals. He also understands that care and compassion are integral to this relationship, and truly appreciates the trust his patients place in him.
Dr. Shamrock was born and raised in central Florida, and is excited to call Naples his new home. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, he attended medical school at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he graduated with highest honors. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at the University of Florida, where he served as Chief Resident.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shamrock's hobbies include running, saltwater and freshwater fishing, scuba diving, wake boarding, snow skiing, hiking, and traveling, He enjoys the adventure of any outdoor activity, especially exploring new places with the challenge of trying something new."

Dr. Hobdari’s personal philosophy of compassionate care is based on understanding the lifestyle challenges that impact each patient individually. She believes thoroughly getting to know each patient is the key to your successful treatment and good health.
“The reason I engaged myself in private practice is because it allows me to provide a better quality of care. I can keep the lines of communication open during and between appointments, so I can better anticipate issues. Although the world of medicine is changing every day, and the future of health care is uncertain, we at Hobdari Family Health will continue to put the patients FIRST, because nothing is more important to a practice’s success than the patient / doctor relationship.”
