Yanis Alfonso, M.D., is an experienced physician with a demonstrated history in community health care who provides a wide spectrum of services ranging from routine exams to evaluation and management of chronic diseases.
Dr. Alfonso received her medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cubain 2005, then finished her residency in Ophthalmology and Family Medicine in 2009 receiving the Mario Muñoz Monroe Award for academic excellence.
She relocated to the US and completed a Family Medicine residency at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2020.
