Dr. Kauffman is a board-certified family physician with over 30 years of experience, dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, teens, adults, and seniors, as well as both men and women. A graduate of Lehigh University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kauffman is committed to building long-term relationships with his patients, focusing on preventive care and the early detection of health issues. His approach emphasizes regular check-ups, health screenings, and personalized wellness plans to keep his patients in optimal health at every stage of life.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Kauffman has also developed a strong focus on regenerative and holistic medicine. He seamlessly integrates his Western medical training with alternative therapies, particularly in cosmetic and orthopedic treatments, to provide comprehensive care. Specializing in the use of the patient’s own platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cells, Dr. Kauffman effectively treats sports injuries and orthopedic conditions that have been resistant to medications, surgery, and other traditional Western medical modalities. His approach not only addresses challenging physical injuries but also extends to treating both male and female sexual dysfunction, combining regenerative procedures with conventional treatments to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients.
In addition to his primary care and regenerative medicine expertise, Dr. Kauffman is skilled in aesthetic procedures, including Botox, fillers, and PRP hair restoration, offering his patients a broad range of cosmetic and regenerative options. His goal is to ensure that every patient—whether child, teen, adult, man, or woman—feels they are in good hands, receiving the highest quality of care in a supportive, professional environment.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Kauffman enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and supporting his favorite Philadelphia sports teams, the Eagles and Phillies.
“Wherever the art of Medicine is loved, there is also a love of Humanity”
Dr. Hobdari’s personal philosophy of compassionate care is based on understanding the lifestyle challenges that impact each patient individually. She believes thoroughly getting to know each patient is the key to your successful treatment and good health.
“The reason I engaged myself in private practice is because it allows me to provide a better quality of care. I can keep the lines of communication open during and between appointments, so I can better anticipate issues. Although the world of medicine is changing every day, and the future of health care is uncertain, we at Hobdari Family Health will continue to put the patients FIRST, because nothing is more important to a practice’s success than the patient / doctor relationship.”
